How does automated monitoring work?

On the Professional and Enterprise plans, Precept automatically re-scans your site every week. If your compliance score drops or new issues are detected — a new tracker added by your marketing team, a form without proper consent language — you get an email alert immediately. No manual re-scanning needed.
Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. All plans are monthly subscriptions with no contracts. Cancel anytime from your billing portal — your subscription stays active until the end of the billing period. No cancellation fees, no questions asked.
What's a "scan"?

A scan is one compliance check of one URL. Precept fetches the page, detects trackers, checks for privacy policy and cookie consent, and runs AI-powered analysis against all applicable regulations. Results take about 30–40 seconds and include a compliance score plus actionable findings. On Professional and Enterprise, scans are unlimited.
Do you offer refunds?

If you're not satisfied within the first 7 days of your subscription, email us and we'll refund you in full — no questions asked. After 7 days, we don't offer prorated refunds but you can cancel to avoid future charges.
What is the API access on Enterprise?

Enterprise customers get REST API access to trigger scans programmatically, retrieve scan results, and integrate compliance checks into their CI/CD pipeline or internal tools. API documentation is provided upon onboarding. Great for teams who want to run compliance checks on every deploy.
